Ao Nang Timber House Hotel

The breakfast buffet was good with several choices.

There were a lot of mosquitoes in the room which affected my comfort. Despite not leaving the balcony or doors open, it seemed like the issue stemmed from cleaning practices. The WiFi was annoyingly slow.

The staff was very serviceminded and quick to attend to our problems.The taxiservice to the airport worked perfect; we got a private van though we only paid for a car and got a small breakfast "to go" due to an early flight. The location is good, within walkingdistance for shopping and boatservice to the better beaches around Aonang. Nice, big family apartment with two bedrooms.

The family rooms face the street with barely no sound-proof, I had to sleep with earplugs due to much traffic outside and the garbagetruck (banging very loudly) came every night between 1 am to 5 am and woke us up. The poolarea was a bit worn-out and you heard the traffic here as well. The breakfast could be improved with musli, ham/cheese and bacon, it was a bit poor.

We had two rooms next to each other and are very satisfied with our stay at Timber House. Nice breakfast and location close to shopping and food.

The location was super handy for beach access.

Nothing too much trouble, I would love to come back and would recomand it to others. The breakfasts are savoury and excellent with good coffee, eggs or bacon and excellent stir fried vegetables.

All the rooms are exceptionally clean with king size comfortable beds and the staff is consistently courteous. The breakfast is excellent with options for all tastes, had delicious food.

Spacious room with good amenities like a fridge, kettle, and strong air-con. Nice pool area that never felt crowded, perfect for cooling off after a day exploring.

Rooms showing signs of wear with a noisy air-conditioner. Breakfast area not very clean with limited options that some may find unappetizing. Housekeeping starts early at 8:30am, which might not suit late risers.

The location of Timber House is unbeatable, just a short walk away from Ao Nang beach and local restaurants. I enjoyed the cleanliness of the spacious room and the nice pool area. Staff were helpful when I requested a wheelchair for my stay. There were some issues, like the lock on my room door, a bit finicky. The pool cleanliness seemed to be a problem, but they had an alternative pool across the road which was a plus. Breakfast left something to be desired, particularly the lack of variety on the morning I paid for it. It had a great atmosphere and was perfect for relaxation, yet it could use a few upgrades to facilities and dining options.

Room was unexpectedly large

the wifi was weak in the evenings and only allowed 2 devices. but the spacious room had a lovely balcony and the pool area was well-maintained with plenty of loungers. breakfast was decent for the price.

Location is perfect, just a three-minute walk to the beach! The spacious room was equipped with a huge bed, a fridge, and great air conditioning. Loved the pool area as it never felt crowded, awesome for a relaxing dip after exploring. Breakfast offered a tasty variety of traditional and international options. Coffee on point!

The rooms were comfy, and we enjoyed the pool. We even booked some diving trips at the tour desk nearby. Super close to the beach and nightlife, awesome. The staff were really nice and helpful too!

One downside was the WiFi. It was pretty slow and unreliable, hard to keep in touch with folks back home.

The location is fantastic for walking to the beach and local restaurants! My room was impressively large with a lovely wooden floor that felt great to walk on. The pool area is well-maintained and never felt crowded. I enjoyed the garden view from my balcony, a good morning experience for coffee.

Though the room was large, the air-conditioning unit was rather noisy, which affected my sleep quality.

Loved the big pool, spacious room with a nice balcony. Perfect location between the beaches. Was like home.

during my stay, I loved how a few steps took me to amazing restaurants like Namaste India and the beach was just a short stroll away, making it perfect for leisurely weekend walks.
